Booking Terms and Conditions:
When a booking is made it is accepted that the person making the booking and other people staying associated to the booking agree to the terms and conditions.
Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Leeuwin Apartments will not accept a booking where all guests are less than 18 years. Proof of age may be required.
Check in time is 2pm
Check out time is 10am
Subject to the accommodation on the day of departure late checkout may be available. Please check with reception should you require a late check out to see if this is possible. There may be a charge applied for late checkout that has not been previously agreed upon.
Early check in requests are subject to the previous night’s bookings. We cannot always guarantee arrival prior to 2pm.
Extra Items such as High chairs and Cots must be booked by 4.30pm on the day prior to arrival.
Pets are not permitted on the Property.
All accommodations is smoke free, therefore smoking inside the units is not permitted. Extra cleaning cost will be incurred should there be evidence that smoking has taken place inside or near the doorways of the unit. This may iniclude the cost of commercialcleaning of carpets, sofa and curtains.
Keys: please return all keys to reception at The River Hotel on your departure any lost keys will attract a $50 fee that will be debited from your card.
Parking is allocated. A maximum of 2 cars per Townhouse and 1 per Single Level Apartment is permitted. We cannot guarantee car bays for additional cars as visitor parking is extremely limited. If you are arriving with more than one vehicle please check your apartment allocation with reception prior to leaving home
Leeuwin Apartments does not accept ‘School Leaver’ bookings regardless of whether some guests are over 18 years old. We do not have the resources required to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual School Leaver Period. In particular we do not have the resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of our guests during this period. For this reason, we reserve the right to reject bookings from School and or University leavers for the Period 10th November – 1st December.
Leeuwin Apartments advises if you still choose to book your accommodation with us and it turns out that you are school leavers, or have leavers in your party, your accommodation will be cancelled and cancellation fees will be at the discretion of management
Please note we do not manage any ground floor apartments at this property. Apartments are either 2 level townhouse or 1st floor single level apartment. Please note there is no lift or elevator access to single level apartment, access is via stairs.
The total maximum number of guests including children is 6 persons per apartment. This is a legal requirement and cannot be negotiated. If you have more than 6 guests including children you will require a 2nd apartment. Maximum numbers by room type are as follows:
1 Bedroom apartment is maximum 2 persons (including children)
2 Bedroom apartment is maximum 4 persons (including children)
3 Bedroom apartment is maximum 6 persons (including children)
If you have more than the permissible number of people in a 1 or 2 Bedroom apartment an upgrade to the next size is required. Please do not ask to accommodate more than the maximum number for the room type.
The guest agrees that they are personally liable for any damages to the apartment either by themselves or by any other person with the guests expressed or implied consent.
To avoid any charges after departure please report and damage/missing chattels and fittings to Reception immediately
The hotel accepts no responsibility for the loss of cash or personal items kept in the apartments or your vehicle. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their apartment and vehicle are secured during their stay.
PAYMENT POLICY:
Full Payment of accommodation is required on booking of accommodation. The full amount is charged when the booking is processed by Reservations. Payment is not instantaneous; this booking collects the relevant information it does not process payment.
All rates are quoted in Australian Dollars on a per night basis and include GST of 10%.
If the person, company or association indicated by the guest as being responsible for payment of the account does not pay then the guest is personally liable for the payment of any outstanding amounts.
Overseas Travellers please note:
The advertised price might not be the same as the amount charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate fluctuations. This means as we are based in Australia and the rate is converted to Australian Dollars by your credit card company at the exchange rate on the day that your reservation is processed.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Low Season: At least 48 hrs is required for cancellations at this property. If cancellation is made with in 24hrs of the check in time you will forfeit the full amount for the first night cancelled. Cancellation is by 2pm (Perth time) on the day prior to arrival.
High Season: School holidays, long weekend, weddings, Leeuwin Concert and special events cancellation policy requires 30 days’ notice. Should cancellation occur within 30days of the arrival date you will forfeit the full amount for the first night cancelled.
24 Hours is required for cancellation of extra items such as cots and highchairs. If an extra item is cancelled within 24hrs of the check in time the full charge for the item will be incurred.
Overseas Travellers please note:
The amount refunded is subject to your credit card companies exchange rate on the day of cancellation. We refund the exact amount charged in AUD and have no control over the actual amount that is credited to your card after exchange rates have been applied.
